Program Overview

GiANT Leadership Development comes in two varieties: Leadership Sessions and One-on-One Coaching Sessions.

Leadership Sessions:

Every problem is a leadership problem, and when a key person or group within an organization begins to take leadership seriously, a ripple effect begins to occur throughout teams and eventually, the entire organization. Companies around the world are learning the GiANT tools and then passing these tools on to those they serve. As teams begin to implement the tools, they see an increase in relationships with one another, communication, alignment and capacity. Their ability to execute on projects and tasks that move the organization forward begins to have a profound effect with a clear ROI.

Tools we will use in Leadership Sessions include:

Five Voices: What's it like to be on the other side of you in a team environment? We developed the Five Voices lens to help you understand that different voices are represented around every table, but that all of us as leaders have the capacity to speak all five of those voices.

Support Challenge Matrix: None of us possess the innate ability to naturally create a culture of empowerment and opportunity for those we lead. To define the behaviors that foster such a culture, we use a matrix based on two variables: high support and high challenge.

Influence Model: What enables certain individuals to have significant influence in the lives of others, while others always seem to be limited in their ability to influence? The influence model provides a valuable framework for understanding the dynamics at play in human relationships.

Rules of Team Engagement: If you want to improve your meetings and team engagement, it's essential to follow the rules of team engagement. This is where the beauty of diverse voices comes into play, as it helps you connect with your team and increase your influence. By adhering to these rules, you can create a more engaging environment.

What outcomes should you expect?

  • Deepen your understanding of yourself and how to develop and improve your skills and talents.
  • Understand how you prefer to communicate and receive information so you can tailor your communication style to be more effective in the workplace.
  • Get insights into how you make decisions and what factors are most important.
  • Identify your preferred approach to problem solving, and how you can best collaborate with others to find solutions.
  • Establish a mindset of intentionality as you grow as a leader.
  • Identify unhealthy behaviors and learn to reinforce a healthy, productive culture.
  • Develop a mindset of multiplication.

One-on-One Coaching Sessions:

No matter your role within your organization, from Executive, C-Suite, Director, Manager or employee, GIANT coaching is an effective way to learn the skills necessary to thrive within your organization. You will learn GIANT tools that are applicable for team leadership, personal development, communication, productivity and more.

Tools we will use in One-on-One Coaching Sessions include:

Know Yourself to Lead Yourself: The Core of who you are as a leader encompasses your skill set, emotional intelligence, and understanding of your own disposition. It's important to constantly reflect and ask yourself, "Do I truly know how others perceive me?" Most of us are unaware of our blind spots and shortcomings.

70/30 Principal: This tool is a measure of how we are spending our time in relation to our job responsibilities and tasks. 70/30 is considered the ideal where “70” means spending 70% of our time in our sweet spot.

Active Listening Audit: Most people, if asked "how good of a listener are you?” will respond “I'm pretty good.” But what if I had to ask your spouse or a close friend, what would they say? They may say “ah, yeah, they may not listen as well as they think that they do." Well okay, let's go through the audit and let’s see.

What outcomes should you expect?

  • Learn how your story has shaped the way you lead.
  • Discover how your leadership voice affects those around you.
  • Create stronger more intentional relationships with your team.
  • Create an action plan to become the leader you want to become.
  • Learn how you tend to cope with stress and what strategies may be most effective for you.
