Winning Strategies: Getting Off The Coaching Rollercoaster

Get me off this ride! Join us on Monday, January 26th from 2:00-3:00pm for Winning Strategies: Getting Off the Coaching Rollercoaster.

Many of us love thrilling rides at the amusement park. We wait in long lines for a heart pounding few minutes. But would we feel the same way if that heart pounding ride kept going around and around and around? At some point we would say “get me off this thing, I’m getting sick!”

Well, that’s a great analogy for what we call the “Coaching Rollercoaster.” Your employee’s behavior or performance goes downhill; you address it and back up we go! Only to have the problem return just a few months later. You address it again, and up it goes, again. But wait, the ride is not over… you get the picture.

In the free event Winning Strategies: Getting Off the Coaching Rollercoaster, you will learn how to make lasting positive changes in employee performance. Here is what we will cover together:

  • Why some employees’ performance is inconsistent and why others are always steady.
  • What coaches inadvertently do that keeps employees stuck on the rollercoaster.
  • The one thing a coach must do to get the employee’s performance on the right track, permanently. (It’s not complicated, but it is hard.)

We will also have time for Q&A and thoughtful discussion with other credit union professional throughout the country.
